Organizers of World Telecom Summit have confirmed that SingTel, Dialog Axiata and KT will be presenting at World Telecom Summit 2011. Executive Vice President and Group Chief Strategy Officer of SingTel, Bradley Gambill, Chief Executive Officer of Dialog Mobile, Supun Weerasinghe, Senior Manager of Mobile Network Business Unit at KT, Ki-Ho Lee, will be speaking at the summit. The summit will be held in Singapore from 9-11 November 2011.
Bradley Gambill will speak on LTE ecosystems and present practical strategies to protect and grow carriers’ shares of the ecosystem economic pie. Brad’s role as the Group Chief Strategy Officer of SingTel sees him leading the development and implementation of the Group’s corporate strategy. His responsibilities also include the development of new growth platforms and competitive intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, and new products and services innovation.
Prior to joining SingTel, Brad was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of LG Electronics (LGE) in Korea, helming the expansion of LGE into new high-growth areas and managing its merger and acquisition strategy. Brad was also previously with McKinsey for 12 years as a Partner and recognized thought leader, and with Innosight Consulting, LLC, during which, he founded Innosight Ventures Pte. Ltd.
Brad holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Public Policy.
Supun Weerasinghe will address a session titled “Small Screen Strategy to Drive Internet Adoption” which looks at practical approaches to increase revenue and profit. Supun joined Dialog Axiata PLC in 1999 and has held the position of Group Chief Operating Officer since 2011. He has over 10 years of experience in technology related business management.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom, Supun graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with first class honors in Accountancy and Financial Management. Supun also holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Western Sydney.
Ki-Ho Lee will present KT’s vision of the new age of mobile network in cloud communication. Since 2007, he has been a senior manager at the access network development team of Mobile Network BU in KT. His research interests are in cloud communication center in the view point of CoMP (Coordinated Multi-point Tx/Rx), signal processing, and related protocols.
A member of IEEE and KICS (Korea Information and Communications Society), Ki-Ho received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), in 2001, 2003, and 2007, respectively.
